Fore Vision Golf Wichita Celebrates Legacy and Leadership

Before expanding to Dallas or becoming a cornerstone of Envision’s outreach calendar, the Fore Vision Golf Tournament started as a single-day fundraiser in Wichita, a homegrown effort to bring people together in support of the blind and visually impaired community. This year’s event marks the 30th annual tournament and raised a record-breaking $152,000 to help transform the lives of children, adults, and seniors in Kansas who are blind or visually impaired.
Held at Rolling Hills Country Club Golf Course, the tournament has evolved over the years into more than a sporting event. It’s a celebration of connection, shared purpose, and local leadership. Each spring, players return not just for the game, but for the impact their participation fuels.
The Fore Vision Golf tournament is more than a day on the course - it’s a celebration of progress, partnership, and purpose. What started as a local fundraiser has grown into one of Envision’s most powerful platforms for awareness and engagement. With every drive, putt, and handshake, Fore Vision builds the connections that help bring Envision’s innovative ideas to life.
But beyond the number, it reaffirmed Wichita’s role as the heart of the movement—where the mission of empowerment continues to grow.
Longtime supporters teed off alongside first-time participants, united by a simple idea: that when we gather with intention, real change takes root. The day included stories from program alumni, mission moments, and reminders of what can happen when communities rally around inclusion.
As Envision continues to grow nationally, Wichita’s Fore Vision tournament remains a grounding force—a reminder that big ideas often begin in familiar places. And that outreach, whether it be in Dallas or Wichita, at its best, starts right at home.
