Margie Bradley, Plant Manager at Envision Industries, has been recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as one of the “Outstanding Women Who Lead in Aviation and Manufacturing.” Margie is an excellent leader and we are grateful she is a part of the Envision family!
How did you become involved in your profession?
I have been involved in manufacturing for my entire career. I was drawn to the manufacturing world because I don’t like to sit behind a desk. Being a hands-on person, I love to be in the trenches. Being a part of creating something and seeing projects from start to completion is energizing.
My goal is to focus on the success of the people we serve and helping our employees to achieve a meaningful, productive and fulfilling career. Serving people who are blind or visually impaired at Envision is an amazing opportunity to help people live their lives to the fullest.
Best advice for young women who want to be a part of the profession?
Find your passion and follow it with your whole heart. Embrace change and growth. Consider your direct supports your greatest resource. Put your people first– they will always remember the way you made them feel.
Who are your mentors and how have they influenced your career?
Barney Macari has been instrumental in my journey at Envision. He gave me my first opportunity here and has continued to support me through the years. You can read the full Wichita Business Journal article honoring Margie here.
