Envision Featured on NBC Nightly News Reaching Millions

A small crew from NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt spent most of a Friday in August at Envision Dallas to capture a story about artist and sculptor Tomas Bustos and the impact of accessible art for people who are blind or visually impaired. Bustos recently held a public art exhibition at the Envision Arts Gallery and has been teaching sculpting class at Envision Dallas for over a year. Bustos specializes in bas-relief, cast bronze works that are tactile recreations of famous masterpieces like the Mona Lisa, Starry Night and American Gothic.

The story aired on November 27th, 2023! The viewership reach of the NBC Nightly News is significant. It was ranked as a top-5 most-watched weekly program on TV for most weeks in 2022 (excluding sports, specials and syndication), averaging 6.772 million total viewers!
