The 9th Annual Holiday Market held at the Envision Arts Gallery and Community Engagement Center welcomed hundreds of visitors downtown who came out to support our mission this holiday shopping season with heartwarming, handmade works of art, pottery, jewelry and more, made by individuals who are blind, low vision, and/or with a disability. The 9th Annual Market sold almost $7,000 in original works of art and crafts, and 30%, or $4,000, will be paid directly to each artist or participating agency.

In this moment of gratitude, I am reminded of how far our market has come. We've transitioned over the years from filling up the entire lobby of Envision's headquarters on Main St. with an array of arts and crafts for a one-day event, to hosting a two-week art and craft Market at the Envision Arts Gallery in the Historic Union Station in downtown Wichita, where we offered shopping hours throughout the week, Saturdays, and special evening hours as we stayed open late on December’s First Friday art crawl.

We especially want to highlight and express our appreciation to our volunteers that made the 9th Annual Holiday Market so merry and bright!! Nicole, Gina and Carmen were our cheerful team of gift wrappers who make this event one of their holiday traditions.

Our 10th Annual Holiday Market opens on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, and I hope to see you then!
