Celebrating our mission to serve people who are blind or visually impaired
Envision has always been about meeting needs. Starting in 1933, the agency began as a center for transient and homeless individuals, but also became a gathering place for men who were blind or visually impaired with no means of providing for themselves. And thus, a group of Wichita volunteers turned a need into reality with a mission of serving individuals with vision loss. Each page of our history represents the changed lives of people who, in tandem with Envision, made history on their own.
