Envision Conference West 2019

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Western University of Health Sciences

Every year since 2006, we’ve organized an annual conference that gives you the opportunity to keep up with the latest ideas and advancements in research, practice and technology. And every year since its inception, our conference has grown. It began as the first multidisciplinary conference dedicated to vision rehabilitation and research. Today, it’s the premier international conference for networking with medical professionals, researchers and industry representatives—all wanting to share their ideas on how to improve the lives of people with low vision.

For the first time since its inception, Envision Conference will be split into two events for the upcoming year: Envision Conference East, March 22-23, 2019 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala.; and Envision Conference West, October 5-6, 2019 at the College of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences’ in Pomona, Calif. With both institutions known for their premier programs focused on vision and/or vision related rehabilitation, the format change will expand the reach of Envision Conference, making accredited continuing education more accessible to a greater number of low vision students and professionals around the country.

Anyone whose professional life touches people with low vision can benefit from Envision Conference—from optometrists and rehabilitation therapists to special education teachers and government policy makers. Every year, our attendees include the following:
  • Ophthalmologists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Rehabilitation therapists
  • Licensed visual therapists

  • Industry representatives
