The Envision Conference is now in its 12th year of bringing low vision professionals from multidisciplinary fields together to collaborate with and learn from each other. During the 2017 Envision Conference held in Phoenix July 26-29, attendees from 35 different states and the District of Columbia plus five different countries participated in 44 clinical and six research sessions led by 54 speakers for a total of 60 accredited continuing
education hours.

Envision Conference is one of a kind. Its specific focus on low vision rehabilitation and research sets it apart from everyone else. The discussions that took place in Phoenix between ophthalmologists, optometrists, occupational therapists, teachers of the visually impaired, researchers, academics and others will have ripple effects in all areas of the world and lead to new breakthroughs in patient care and research initiatives.

Next year for the first time, the Envision Conference will be held in Wichita on August 22-25. Be sure to mark those dates on your calendar so you can join us in welcoming conference attendees to our hometown.
