$1,000 Hiring Bonus with Relocation Assistance
Envision will pay a $1,000 new hire bonus payable through installments when an employee who is legally blind relocates to work for Envision in either the Wichita or Kansas City manufacturing facility or one of its base service stores. The installments include a $250 bonus with your first paycheck and a $250 bonus after six months of employment. A $500 bonus is paid after one full year of employment. You must be employed with Envision at the time of each bonus payment is made.
If accepting a job with Envision means a new place to live that is more than 50 miles from your current home, Envision will assist in paying for moving costs associated with your move.
Envision will also pay mileage for automobile travel to your new community. Deposits required for new residence, including housing-related fees, utilities and pets, are also paid for by the agency.
On top of the payments, Envision will make every effort to develop and/or customize the relocation assistance that best suits the needs of the new hire including:
- Personal assistance to locate and secure suitable housing, transportation, necessary social services and support group integration.
- Orientation and mobility assistance prior to and after beginning your duties at Envision.
- Rehabilitation Teaching and Assistive Technology classes that teach Braille and computer skills are also available to employees at Envision.
