Envision operates three manufacturing facilities to provide jobs and job training for people who are blind or low vision. They are located in Wichita, Kansas City, and Pittsburg, Kansas and employ more than 100 people.

Most manufacturing contracts are obtained through the Javits Wagner O'Day (JWOD) program. JWOD is a federal act that gives priority to not-for-profit companies whose work force consists primarily of people who are blind or severely disabled. These products and services must be competitively priced and meet stringent quality standards. The Kansas Use Law, a similar legislation for Kansas, is another valuable resource for contracts.
