About Us
For most Americans, holding a job is a sign of independence. Unfortunately, more than 70 percent of individuals who are blind or vision impaired are unemployed or underemployed. Since 1933, Envision has been dedicated to providing employment and independence for individuals who, because of their visual impairment, are largely overlooked and underserved.
Almost 50 percent of the 400 Envision employees are blind or vision impaired, making Envision the nation's second largest employer of individuals who are blind or vision impaired. Employees with vision impairments work in manufacturing, retail, print, customer service and administrative careers.
At Envision, the focus is on ability, not disability.
