Create independence for people with impaired vision

kids partyEnvision welcomes your gift to support our mission. Gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations support individuals and caretakers of those who are blind or vision impaired through the mission of Envision through employment, vision rehabilitation and educational programs.

Your gift can help:

  • Reduce the more than 70 percent unemployment rate for people who are blind
  • Provide vision rehabilitation for a senior with impaired vision, allowing him or her to remain independent
  • Pay for assistive technology for a student with vision loss, helping him or her to be successful in school, leading to success later in life
  • Fund an educational program to help prevent blindness

We offer many ways for you to give to the Envision Foundation. Your gift may also offer compelling tax advantages. Please consult with an attorney, tax adviser or financial planner before making a planned gift.

Envision is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit agency.

February is Age-related Macular Degeneration Awareness Month

Simulated Age-related Macular Degeneration More than nine million Americans have age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a painless eye disease that is the leading cause of blindness in the U.S. for people over the age of 65. That number is expected to nearly double over the next 10 years as the baby boomer generation begins heading into retirement age. Learn how to protect yourself.

Lives Changed Everyday(3)

Seventy-six-year-old "Christine" began to lose her vision four years ago. She was referred to Envision for occupational therapy and low vision rehabilitation for the purpose of improving her daily functioning with home management, financial management, self-care and leisure tasks.
