Lives Changed Everyday

"Heather," a 30-year-old married, stay-at-home mother of two small children from Kansas City, is struggling to live with Stargardts Maculopathy and rod-cone dystrophy. As a result of these diseases, she has experienced a significant decrease in her vision over the last 10 years. Young, enthusiastic and self-sufficient, she was referred to Envision for the technology and training she needs to further enhance her independence - in spite of the nearly 400-mile round trip.
