As the second largest employer in the U.S. of individual who are low vision, Envision focuses on ABILITY, not disability. We place an emphasis on what people CAN do; not what they can’t do. Oftentimes, that means removing barriers. One of the largest barriers to employment for individuals who are blind or low vision is transportation. Envision collaborates with cab, city bus and specialized van services to ensure that every employee has a ride to and from work daily. What are some ways in which companies can remove barriers for employment candidates who are disabled.
