Envision provides services to people of all ages. From providing a job to providing much needed resources, the goal is always the same – independence.
For most Americans, holding a job is a sign of independence. Unfortunately, more than 70 percent of individuals who are blind or low vision are unemployed or underemployed. Almost 50 percent of the 400 Envision employees are blind or low vision, making Envision the nation’s second largest employer of individuals who are blind or low vision.
Envision provides vision rehabilitation, regardless of ability to pay. Envision Vision Rehabilitation Center offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art services in one convenient location. Licensed and certified specialists work directly with individuals and their families, building independence and inspiring hope.
Because Kansas has the fifth highest prevalence of vision loss in the United States, the work of the Envision Foundation ensures programs and services for those with vision loss.
