Envision announced today that it has appointed Nikki Freeman, SPHR as its Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She reports to Envision President and CEO Michael Monteferrante.
Freeman will oversee Envision’s human resources operations, which include recruiting professionals from all over the world for Envision’s 16 base service stores, manufacturing operations, newly launched Envision Research Institute, radio station KKGQ 92.3 FM and more. Freeman will also support a core of Envision’s mission to provide employment to individuals who are blind or visually impaired and who work in a wide variety of capacities at Envision including but not limited to sales, business development, IT and human resources. Individuals who are blind or visually impaired make up over 75% of Envision’s manufacturing workforce.

Freeman joins Envision after spending 10 years at HCA, Wesley Medical Center where, during her tenure, she held the roles of Vice President of Human Resources/Employee Health, Director of Human Resources/Employee Health and Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, Freeman worked as the Human Resources Director for Galichia Medical Group, P.A. and has a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Friends University.
